"Interpretations" is very much a concept-album project based on varying artist interpretations of the Blue Amazon sound, forged into DJ mix album. All tracks showcased on this album are a collection Blue Amazon remixes; artist remixes of Blue Amazon and of course, a selection of Blue Amazon's own original recordings.

Lee Softley aka Blue Amazon is a well-established producer and club D.J. whose presence in the dance music industry spans two decades. He burst onto the scene in the mid-nighties with ground-breaking releases such as "No Other Love" on Jackpot Records, The Javelin Album on Sony and has produced highly acclaimed remixes for non-other than Seal, New Order, Bedrock, Skunk Anansie and Sasha etc.

Joining Lee on this album is Ian Ossia, another well-respected artist, best known for his wealth of club D.J'ing appearances and mix albums with legendary outfit Renaissance. Ian was carefully selected to provide not just a DJ mix to this album but also additional production adding creative edits, FX and programming to the recordings. Blue Amazon and Ian Ossia are two familiar names with immense history who have never lost touch with the industry's changing trends and styles whilst always striving to progress by promoting their sound to new audiences.

All individual tracks and bonus tracks (CD2) are available on the "Interpretations" digital release. The Physical CD is a special limited edition. Both the mixed and un mixed versions of the album included some great exclusives and artist remixes.

Irelands own "Silinder" has remixed BA classic "Four Seasons", Hernan Cattaneo & Martin Garcia has remixed "No Other Love", Blue Amazon have remixed a cover of Jam & Spoons "Stella", new mixes of BA "And then The Rain Falls" by Halobega & Alex Aguilar, remixes of the new Atlantic Drift single feat "Angelic" as well as other Interpretations by "In Progress", Feed On Digital and more
