An approach to mix-downs & prep - Logic Pro X & Ableton part 1

This topic will be covered in parts - as we go through the different processes and considerations for mix-down.

Starting with levels - gain staging - pre/post levels - next we will move on to pre-mix master buss processing before starting looking at separate channels, EQ & busses, etc. IF YOU ARE AN ABLETON USERS - please still watch the first half of the video as it is relative to the switch over to Ableton.

Part 3 of the Mixdown series - looking at how we can achieve some very good results with minimal processing. It is applicable to any daw (as seen in the last video - both Ableton / logic)

I've included two - before and after processing audio files below that I would suggest listening to first, this will give a better idea of the changes.

I apologise if the video is a bit choppy in places - it was a late one last night and I was trying to get the audio on video better --- something I will address going forward, but please check the audio clips first before watching.
